National Support

The national Exploring program supports your Explorer post through one of more than 327 local Learning for Life representatives.

The local office and its Learning for Life staff support your programs by

Providing professional staff to help the post succeed
Maintaining activities to support Exploring
Recruiting, training, and guiding a volunteer organization
Providing area-wide activities such as career-related conferences and science fairs
Conducting an annual career interest survey of all high schools in the area to foster participation

Liability Insurance

Learning for Life also provides general liability insurance to cover participating organizations on a primary basis for any responsibility they may have because they hold a certification for Exploring. Primary insurance means that the participating organization has exactly the same liability insurance as the local Learning for Lifeoffice. It also means that Learning for Life insurance will pay any and all expenses, claims, or judgments against the participating organization on Exploring-related matters without asking the participating organization and/or its own insurance to be involved.

Explorer Leader Training

The local Learning for Life office provides Explorer leader training sessions along with Advisor meetings and program conferences to improve and enrich post programs.
